How to find parts to order

A. Replacement Parts and Equipment categories (Left blue Menu Buttons)

•  GardnerBarn.com has a wide assortment of products to meet your barn needs. If you don't find what you want, please let us know.

•  Our Replacement Parts and Equipment Products are arranged in 10 main categories on our blue menu. Various subcategories for each main product category are contained in the dropdown menu attached to each button. Subcategories can be viewed by placing your cursor over any of the buttons with a down-facing triangle, which indicates a drop-down menu is attached.

•  You can view all the products in a main category by clicking on the Show All button or by clicking on any of the sub-category menu buttons.

Since there is not one universally-accepted set of category names, some of our categories may be named differently than you would call them. That's why it may be helpful to use the “Show All” button to see all of our selections in a particular category so you don't miss what you may be looking for.

•  Another way to find a specific product is to use our site's search engine. Enter the product ID number, the product's name or keywords describing what you're looking for. Our site's search engine will then gather all of the products that match your search request.

How to Order at GardnerBarn.com

We've designed a quick and easy procedure for ordering at GardnerBarn.com. There's just a two step process of checking out after you've decided what you want to purchase.

As you browse through our store's products, feel free to add any products to your shopping cart which you think you may have an interest in, without any obligation to purchase. Even if you're not sure you want the item, it typically is easier to just add it to your cart while you're looking at it rather than try to go back later and find it again. Simply click on the “Save to Cart” button on any product page and that product will be added to your cart. Like any shopping cart, you can remove any items you don't want to purchase before checking out.

To delete an item from your cart, simple click on the “Remove” button in the “Saved Cart”.

If you want to change the quantity of any item, click on “Update Quantity” and enter the number of that item you want.

When you're satisfied with what you want to purchase, you can begin the 2-step checkout process by clicking “Checkout” in your Saved Cart”, which takes you to:

•  Order Information Page

This is where you enter the information needed for purchasing. (If you're an existing customer who has purchased from GardnerBarn.com previously and your information hasn't changed, you don't have to enter any customer information, simply click on “Existing Customers Click Here to Sign In”.)

The”Addr Book ID” serves as your “password” to your account information. Enter whatever word (any combination of up to 8 letters) you would like.

Then select the “Payment Method” by indicating the type of credit card you will be using.

For “Please send me promotional email”, you can choose what, if anything, you would like.

Then click “Continue” to go to the final step:

•  Payment Information Page

This page shows what information you've entered for your order and allows you to make any changes, if desired. If you want to change something, click “Edit” to go back and make the change.

Enter your credit card information (card number and expiration date). Then click “Complete Order” and that's it! You will receive an order confirmation via email for your records and your order processing will begin.

How to plan your new/renovated barn

We have developed a separate section of the site devoted to assisting you with your Renovation or new barn planning.

Click on the “Barn Equipment Components” button, which is located at the bottom of the blue menu and is a gold tan. This will take you directly to the customization portion of the site.

In order to submit your customization information, please complete our brief our “Barn Project Info” questionnaire. A link to the questionnaire is found on the opening page of our Barn Equipment Components section. Your information will provide us with an idea of what you may have in mind for your barn and will serve as a basis for our designers to discuss the specifics of your project and provide you with a quote.

Website Tools

• SECURITY/PRIVACY - describes our policy pledge of a safe and worry-free shopping experience, including safeguards for securing your credit card info. Also describes our policy of respecting and protecting your privacy, including not using your info for any other purpose than your purchase transaction.
  

• HOME – the main, initial page of the website. The middle section describes some of the key features of the site.
  
  
• CHECKOUT – to use when you're ready to purchase items you've selected
  
  
• VIEW CART – to see what you have tentatively selected so far until you're ready to checkout. You can change anything in your cart at any time.
  
  
• SEARCH – This is our website's search engine for finding a particular product in our store's catalog (not for searching the internet). This is another way in addition to the blue menu bars to find a product. You can enter the product ID number, the product's name or keywords describing what you're looking for. You will then be shown the products that match what you've entered.
  
  
• MY ACCOUNT – where you can enter/see your information regarding your shipping address, email for order confirmation, etc. to make it easier and quicker the next time you visit and shop. This is typically set up when you order a product. So there is no need to enter anything until you place an order unless you want to do it ahead of time to make checking out a little quicker. The “password” is anything you want to choose, any combination of 4-8 characters or numbers. (If you forget your password, just click on “forgot your password” and we will automatically send it to you immediately.) This is also the place to track the shipping status of your order, so you can know when to expect the arrival of your package. You can check the box “subscribe to mailing list” to receive special offers and our newsletter.
  
  
• CONTACT US – If you have any questions, comments, concerns, or problems, click on this button to take you to the contact page where you can click on “Send us an email” and we'll get back to you ASAP.
  
  
• HELP – the page you are now on, designed to provide useful info about how to use our website.
  
  
• SHIPPING – describes our shipping practices and policies, including shipping costs, carrier used, and how to deal with products damaged in shipment. Also shows how you can track when your package will arrive at your home.

• BOOKMARK – Our domain name, GardnerBarn.com.com describes who we are but is a little long to type in. So to make it easier for you to return to our site, you can add it to your list of favorite sites simply by clicking on “Bookmark” on the home page.
  

• SAVED CART – When you place a product in the shopping cart, you have the option of leaving it there, browsing and putting in additional products until you're ready to checkout.
